Our Town: Hollidaysburg to Premier Thursday, June 4th at 8pm

Posted by Charlie G on 06/02 at 11:09 AM

Several Hollidaysburgers will travel to the WPSU studios this Thursday, June 4th to help present the 50th program in the series, Our Town: Hollidaysburg. They will be answering phone calls from friends and neighbors back in Hollidaysburg calling in to get a DVD copy of the program that was created by volunteers from the community. The DVDs are available to viewers who make a membership pledge to support public television station WPSU. For a pledge of $75 you will receive one DVD of the show and for $120 pledge you will get two DVDs. Our Town: Hollidaysburg will not only be broadcast on WPSU-TV, but also on the web. Watch it live online at 8pm tonight.

The program will be broadcast twice once at 8pm and again at 10pm. It is always great fun when we broadcast an Our Town. People are very proud to their towns and Hollidaysburg has a lot to be proud of. There are nineteen segments in the program, covering more that twenty three different topics. In addition to the local calls that come in, several viewers call in from other parts of the country who are watching on their computers. We look forward to your comments about the program. People can also make their pledges on this website by clicking on contribute at the top of this page.
