Our Town

Everyone Enjoyed the Our Town: Hollidaysburg Preview

Posted by Charlie G on 06/02 at 10:34 AM

On Tuesday May 26th at Jack’s Colonial Hotel Grille just under fifty people viewed the almost completed version of Our Town: Hollidaysburg. The attendees were very complimentary of the program. We previewed the show so the volunteers can see their segments and so we can make sure all the the video is in the right place. After the show ran we discussed a few changes that needed to be made and enjoyed the refreshment made by John Seely’s team at the Grille.

Many thanks to the volunteers for distributing the posters and postcards in addition to the Altoona Mirror and WJAC-TV for helping promote the broadcast on Thursday June 4th at 8pm. Don’t forget to let out of town friends and family know that they can see the show on their computers when we broadcast it. They can connect at wpsu.org. We welcome your comments on the program. You can read the Altoona Mirror article at http://www.altoonamirror.com/page/content.detail/id/519428.html. Photos of the preview and the on camera volunteers are in the Gallery.
