Early Finish to WPSU-FM Spring Fundraising Campaign

Posted by Fundraising on 04/09 at 03:51 PM

WPSU-FM completed it’s seven day Spring Fundraising Campaign ahead of
schedule and slightly over goal on Monday, April 6. The $85,000
campaign was scheduled to conclude Monday evening but WPSU-FM
tradition is to stop fund raising when the goal is achieved. Over 700
contributors enabled WPSU-FM to end the campaign by mid-morning
Monday with $87,460 raised in support of public radio.

Tom Yourchak, Director of Development for WPSU, said,“Hitting goal
ahead of schedule really shows the importance that our listeners
place on their favorite public radio programming, in addition to
being incredibly rewarding for all of the staff and volunteers who
worked so hard to make this campaign successful. It really is a
community effort from the first minute to the last, our thanks to
every one who participated. ”
