Reel Big Show at Medlar Field

Posted by Marcus Correll on 09/14 at 10:33 AM

When: 9/14/2010, 8:30PM
Where: Medlar Field at Lubrano Park

Those familiar with the ska music scene already know that Reel Big Fish is performing at University Park today. The concert is brought to Penn State students by SPA for a ticket price of $5. The show is also open to the general public for a ticket price of $10, on sale now at the HUB. The show at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park begins at 8:30 tonight.

Reel Big Fish is touring to promote their “Best of Us For the Rest of Us” album that was released earlier this summer. This album is a greatest hits of sorts, compiling a lot of old with a little new and putting it in a 2-disc set. Reel Big Fish is just one of many 90s bands, including Hanson and Goo Goo Dolls, returning to perform on campus.

Tickets are still available in 129 HUB and at the gate tonight (see @psu_spa). So put on your skanking shoes, grab your top hat, and get ready to do some good old fashioned dancing at this Reel Big show.

Bio: I am a junior at the Pennsylvania State University majoring in journalism with hopes of achieving a writing position for a prominent music magazine. I am an avid concert goer and enjoy rock climbing, golfing and hanging with my friends. My top bands right now are Blink-182 (always a top choice), Man Overboard, Manchester Orchestra and Vampire Weekend.

Much better picture!!!  I notice that you omitted Gumby’s; no longer working there??  How many of these do you write for your 2 credits?  Is this your first?  Love you.
