Our Town: Reynoldsville Coming Soon to WPSU
Posted by Whitney on 05/25 at 01:35 PM
The 54th production in the “Our Town” takes us to Reynoldsville, PA in Jefferson County. The program premieres Thursday, June 10 at 8 p.m. on WPSU-TV. Out-of-towners can also watch the program at wpsu.org/live during the broadcast.
Our production team received an enthusiastic welcome into the friendly Reynoldsville community. We’ve made some great friends and visited places like the Carriage House, Korner Kupboard Antiques, Our Hometown Restaurant, and the Foundry. The Reynoldsville Business Association and the Foundry have been extremely helpful in getting the residents involved in the project.
Don’t forget to tune in Thursday, June 10 at 8 p.m. to see stories about the library, the history of Reynoldsville, local churches, local wildlife, and much, much more! I know you’ll enjoy seeing this video scrapbook as told by the community of Reynoldsville!

Livermore, CA
“Our Town/Reynoldsville” was brought to my attention by my Mom, Ann (Fusco) Dotts. We are descendants of Louis and Pasqualine Fusco, Italian immigrants, who industriously once owned/operated several businesses in Reynoldsville; most prominently the long defunct Fusco’s Market (site of today’s Hometown Restaurant). Reynoldsville was, like many other small towns around the area, considerably busier economically in the days of my youth; the 60’s and early 70’s. The global economy has taken its toll the past couple of decades, unfortunately. But, we remember the town’s once-prosperous history with great affection. And, I’m looking forward to viewing this WPSU production a little later this evening to see how the town has changed.
