Folks enjoyed the Our Town: Curwensville Preview

Posted by Bianca Barr on 12/04 at 04:14 PM

More than 40 people attended the Our Town:Curwensville preview Thursday night at the Curwensville Area High School Auditorium. It was a great show and the folks who helped tell the stories of their town in Clearfield County said they enjoyed the hour-long program.

The auditorium in the Curwensville Area H.S. may have been a little chilly, but the brisk air didn’t keep people from enjoying a first look at Our Town: Curwensville. We watched stories about all different parts of the borough in Clearfield County—stories about churches and cemeteries, schools and scenery. It was great to talk to all the folks who attended the preview. They were excited to see how their stories were turned into an hour-long television program and they were amazed at how much material was edited to make the show what it is.

Next week: the debut of Our Town on WPSU.  Tune in on Thursday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. and you’ll see your friends from the Curwensville area—both in the documentary and answering phones during the December pledge drive that night.
