Classical Music

Classical Music Tuesday, August 23 on WPSU-FM

Posted by Kristine A. on 08/22 at 01:38 PM

Highlights of Tuesday’s classical music from 9:00am to 3:00pm on WPSU include a Beethoven Symphony and a beautiful late-romantic harp concerto.

Join us for Tuesday’s classical music, and you’ll hear the gorgeous Harp Concerto by Reinhold Gliere, and Daniel Barenboim conducting Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5.  Opera fans might be interested in hearing Giuseppe Verdi’s String Quartet (yes, he wrote one!) in a version for orchestra, or Ernesto Cavallini’s pastiche of Rossini tunes in “Rossiniana” for clarinet and piano. You’ll hear that and much more, tomorrow from 9 to 3 on WPSU-FM!
