4th Annual Pink Day, Wheatfield Nursery, Centre Hall, Saturday 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

The Wheatfield Nursery and Nittany Shop with Heart are holding the Fourth Annual Pink Day Saturday at the Wheatfield Nursery. Millheim Mayfly Festival, Millheim, Saturday, 10:00 a.m.-midnight

Some really good fly fishing around Millheim, and a really good fly for trout is the mayfly. Saturday, head out to Millheim to join in the celebration of this dainty insect, featuring live music, local food, local beer (at Elk Creek Cafe + Aleworks), free chair massages, kids activities, craft vendors, and more.

Wine and Cheese Tasting, Mount Nittany Vineyard and Winery, Centre Hall, Saturday, noon-5:00 p.m.

To celebrate June as “National Dairy Month,” Mount Nittany Vineyard and Winery will host free wine and cheese tastings every Saturday in June. This Saturday local cheese artisan Stone Meadow Farm will be available in the winery tasting room to provide samples and sales of their products.

Local on the Menu Dinner, Elk Creek Cafe + Aleworks, Millheim, Sunday, 5:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

Friends & Farmers Food Co-Op teams up with Elk Creek Café for an evening of super local small plates, tasty house-brewed beers, music and mingling with great company. Proceeds will go towards building a co-op local food grocery store in State College.  Tickets are $45 for members, $50 for non-members. Tickets are limited. Online order form for tickets available at www.friendsandfarmers.coop for check, cash or credit cards (note the $3 processing fee for credit cards.)
