Students in the Spotlight for Friday’s Noontime Concert Series

Posted by Stephen Smith on 02/24 at 09:46 AM

This Friday, the SPA will host its first Student Showcase of the year at the HUB.  Starting at noon, the concert will feature Maura and Chris, Fred, Topher, Free Rollercoaster, and Eric Faust with Mike D. Mulligan.

This showcase is an excellent snapshot into original music created by Penn State students.  It provides a raw alternative to bar cover bands, giving a voice to up-and-coming artists from Penn State and the State College area.

Interested in playing in a Student Showcase?  Auditions for future showcases will be held on March 3rd and March 17th at 6:00pm. You must email Carolyn Lederach at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to schedule your audition.

Come out and support your fellow classmates during your lunch this Friday! The event will be held on the first floor of the HUB. Just follow the sound of music.

What: Student Showcase
Where: HUB, First Floor
When: Friday, February 25th at 12:00pm
