Rebelution Tonight at the State Theatre

Spirit-fused reggae will fill the State Theatre tonight. California-based reggae band, Rebelution, is coming to State College with special guests Zion I and Tribal Seeds.

Rebelution, seeks to inspire their audiences with optimistic lyrics and fresh, soothing rhythms. The band formed in college and quickly gained popularity in the Santa Barbara area. Eric Rachmany is on the vocals/guitar, Rory Carey does the keyboard, Marley D. Williams is the bassist, and Wesley Finley is on the drums. Here is a sample:

Zion I is the hip hop duo of DJ AmpLive and MC Zumbi from Oakland, California. The two have based their underground fame off of contemporary social lyrics and the mixing of live instrumentation and samples. Here is a sample:

Tribal Seeds brings a rock style infused with reggae roots. They seek to move their audiences with their spirituality and musical talent. Here is a sample:
