Our Town: Ridgway—Looking for enthusiastic community volunteers!

Posted by Jessica on 06/19 at 07:47 AM

Do you have a great story to tell about the people, places, or happenings in Ridgway or the surrounding communities in Elk County? If so, you’re invited to join us on Wednesday, June 27th at the Tele-Communications Room of the North Central Planning Commission for an open volunteer meeting for anyone interested in participating in Our Town: Ridgway!

WPSU’s first Our Town: Ridgway was broadcast in 2000—and we are due for an update! Experience is not needed—just enthusiasm and community pride. Whether you are a lifelong resident or have recently moved to the area, we want to hear your stories to know why Ridgway is a great place to call home.

The community meeting is open to the public, so spread the word to family, friends, and neighbors who may also be interested!  The production team is excited to get started, and we hope that you are too!
