Friday, 9/16: Ryan Tennis to play SPA Noontime Concert Series

Posted by Devin Weakland on 09/15 at 04:23 PM

Upbeat acoustic singer Ryan Tennis will perform this Friday, September 16th, as part of the Student Program Association (SPA) Noontime Concert Series.  The show will begin at 12:00 p.m. on the first-floor lounge in the HUB.

Free of charge, students (or anyone in the area) can come to enjoy good music, and to unwind from a stressful school week.

A former All-American college football player, Ryan Tennis can’t be categorized into one musical genre, which is what makes him interesting.  I especially like his music because it’s a mix of folk, acoustic pop, and folk-pop.  Combined with his lyrics, his music creates a fun yet soothing sound that leaves listeners feeling positive and content.  To date, Ryan Tennis has released three albums, the most recent (and my favorite) being Goodbye to the Ground.

I have never seen Ryan Tennis perform live before, so I am really excited to watch his show tomorrow.  There’s always a special sense of excitement watching a musical artist perform live for the first time.  So, definitely come and check him out.
