Avoiding Foreclosure Workshops

The web is filled with resources to help homeowners with questions about foreclosures and sometimes a phone call to the right organization provides the life jacket needed to prevent a foreclosure. For some, an in person resource is the preferable way to sort through the options and actions to take for your situation.

Freddie Mac, a government sponsored enterprise that works to provide affordable housing, lists foreclosure prevention workshops being held by community organizations across the U.S.

The list is updated as new workshops are announced. Go to the list of workshops near you, and click on your state.

If you live in a community that borders another state, remember to look at that state’s workshop offerings as they might be closer to your home.
