Highlights of Friday’s classical music on WPSU-FM include the Guitar Concerto No. 1 by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco; “In the Steppes of Central Asia” by Alexander Borodin; the double violin concerto by J.S. Bach; and Tchaikovsky’s “Capriccio italien”. Join us for the music from 9:00am to 3:00pm Friday on WPSU-FM.

Friday’s classical music on WPSU-FM will include pianist Van Cliburn playing music by Frederic Chopin, as we observe the composer’s bicentennial this year. We’ll also hear Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 played with period instruments by the London Classical Players, and music by American composers William Grant Still and Alan Hovhaness. Join us for that and much more from 9:00am to 3:00pm Friday on WPSU-FM.
