Mt. Nittany Winery to hold Harvest Dinner Nov. 8

Winery owners Joe and Betty Carroll invite you to an intimate evening with your friends at the Mt. Nittany Vineyard & Winery. Our Winemaker’s Harvest Dinner, catered by Brown Dog Catering, is an opportunity to enjoy the fruits of the harvest and the company of fellow wine lovers at our beautiful setting on the side of Mt. Nittany. We have selected wines to accompany each course and will discuss the pairings as the evening progresses–hope you will join us!

Appetizers

Artisan Cheese Board with Rustic Bread & Raspberry Dijon Mustard
Pumpkin & Dried Cranberry Goat Cheese Fritters

Baby Greens with Oven-Roasted Butternut Squash & Maple Vinaigrette

Entrée Plate
Hunter Chicken, Pan-Seared in Hearty Tomato, Mushroom & Red Wine Sauce
Creamy Yukon Mashed Potatoes
Flash-Fried Green Beans

Sweet Ending
Warm Local Diner Sticky Bread Pudding with Apples, Pecans & Caramel Sauce

During the evening, diners will be serenaded by local musician, Laura Boswell. Laura combines her facility on the guitar, banjo, and piano to create music rooted in intimacy, rhythm, and poetry. With a background in classical music, she combines unique harmonies with accessible melodies to create an intriguing genre of folk.
