Take Note: Trash to Treasure

Take Note: Trash to Treasure

What would you call a recycling project that teaches students altruism, raises money for local charities and saves Penn State money in tipping fees? We’d call it extraordinary, but it’s officially called the Trash to Treasure Sale and it’s being held this May 29th at Penn State’s Beaver Stadium. Connie Schroeder of the Centre County United Way, and Al Matyasovky, director of Recycling at Penn State, are coordinators of the Trash to Treasure Sale.
