Take Note: Human Rights In China

Dimon Liu, author and human rights activist, says that Tiananmen Square was a turning point. It showed that Communist leaders will stop at nothing to keep their power and genuine reform cannot survive. Dimon Liu has been involved in human rights work since 1972. She has organized campaigns to free scholars imprisoned in China, led an unprecedented UN reprimand against human rights abuse, and has testified in Congress on human rights conditions in China. Her appearance on Take Note is made possible by Juniata College.
