Pennsylvania Inside Out: Ethics of Global Warming

The scientific community--and a growing number of policy makers--now widely accept that human activities like burning fossil fuels and deforestation are increasing atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide and other "greenhouse gases." But very little has been done to address the ethical issues that would accompany climate change, which is largely fueled by pollution from the world's wealthiest countries. Joining us to consider the ethical, religious and "social justice" implications of climate change are...Nancy Tuana, the director of Penn State's Rock Ethics Institute, and Christian Brady, dean of Penn State's Schreyer Honors College.
