Too hard to name only one, but asparugus is the first thing we harvest from the garden and is the sign of more to come (strawberries, tomatoes, and peppers).

I am a facebook and twitter follower.

Hard to choose, but in spring I crave freshly shelled peas with new potatoes. I am already a Twitter follower.

I love asparagus!  Since it’s hard for me to find vegetables I’ll tolerate cooked, asparagus is my savior.  My dad even expanded the asparagus patch in our garden several years ago for this reason.  It’s a very sad day in my family when the last bag of frozen asparagus is used.

I really look forward to fresh snap peas and asparagus. Both are delicious eaten raw and in salads. One of my favorite ways to make the asparagus is gently steamed and then layered on whole grain toast with a white sauce or a cheese sauce. Mushroom sauce is also wonderful

I can’t wait for fresh corn.  Just found a great recipe for corn, zucchini, green been and ricotta crepes!
