Just hearing Roy’s voice reminds me of last summer in the North Channel where we took Bottoms Up. The Little Current Cruiser’s net was the most entertaining and informative boating program. The Cruiser’s net was our only source for news and weather. The call in portion of the show gave us an opportunity to meet a lot of boaters.  Keep up the great job Roy and hope to see you one day at the Anchor Inn during one of your broadcast’s.  ~~__/)__~~

The captain and myself never miss a morning to call in and listen to roys broadcast.  It is a very important service he provides and gives us boaters some assurance that if we need help we have another avenue to persue to get help.  It also gives us an opportunity to find out where other boaters are and when we meet up with them it becomes a topic of conversation and we feel that we are one big happy family.  thanks roy and keep up the great work.

Very nicely done.  Helps spur me on to pack and plan for our summer in the North Channel agin and reconnect in person with old friends and acquaintants.

Nice to hear the voice of summer.Have enjoyed Roy’s Cruisers Net for a few summers while cruising the North Channel. Also, enjoyed reading about Dragonfly in a recent edition of Lats & Atts, very innovative method of powering, looks great.

Hearing your voice on the Cruiser’s Net makes us anxious to get up to our sailing paradise in the North Channel.  Now, if only we can get some dry weather to polish our hull we will feel summer is not far behind.  Until we see you at the Anchor Inn, enjoy the unfolding spring and the hardy boaters who you may be meeting up there soon.

The Cruiser’s Net is the safety link to this solo sailor. I’ve participated as much as possible ever since Roy started the Net. You can’t sleep in if you are a Netter and you won’t want to miss a program. I can’t thank Roy enough for all he does for us cruisers.

We were glad to get your last e-mail. Looks like Summer is here, although it has been a while coming. Good write up on Dragonfly. We me Cynthia and Bill in Killarney last year. I am a electrician and I just loved the boat and all those solar panels. We have the sailboat Sue Ann and have just one panel, which keeps our batteries topped off. We have been coming to the North Channel for 22 years. With God’s will, we hope to talk to you again this summer.

Roy has done a tremendous service for the boating community and for Manitoulin Island with his welcoming and information broadcast. We always rise early to catch his call and to set our sails for another beautiful anchorage. This summer we will crew aboard Fairytale as we sold Blue Heron.  Roy, we will be listening for you and the familiar call-ins each morning. Thank you.
