WPSU Seeks Stories from Windber for Latest Episode in “Our Town” Series

Posted by Whitney on 05/07 at 09:23 AM

WPSU is seeking stories about Windber and the surrounding areas. The “Our Town” television series highlights stories from your friends and neighbors and you can be a part of the community project! We need stories about the people, places and, happenings in your area and you to help tell them. Join us for the community meeting on Tuesday, May 27 at 6:30PM in the Windber Area High School auditorium to learn more about the project.

At the community meeting, we’ll talk about story ideas and get everyone to commit to being a part of the project. We’ll also talk about how to become involved by capturing video & photos about your hometown for the project.

Join your friends and neighbors to plan the project with WPSU. No experience is required, just enthusiasm! We’re looking for stories from longtime residents and stories from those who recently joined the community.

You’ll see these stories come to life on screen during the broadcast premiere of “Our Town: Windber” next September on WPSU-TV and wpsu.org.
